Memorial Butterfly Release

We invite you to honor a loved one at our annual Memorial Butterfly Release on July 23, 2026. This event commemorates the patients and families that have been served and supported by Triniti’s hospice team over the years.

WHEN: 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23, 2026
WHERE: Christ Church Otsego, 15849 90th Street NE

Each year, family and friends have the chance to remember loved ones who have passed and honor their memories. The release of a butterfly offers the promise of healing and is a gentle, comforting symbol of a loved one’s spirit ascending toward the heavens.

Our annual Memorial Butterfly Release program includes music and guest speakers, a presentation, and the butterfly release ceremony.

A Tribute to Loved Ones

Triniti’s Butterfly Release event started in 2005 as a way to provide peace for family members and friends of patients we grew to know and love. It offers a sense of closure, allowing the burden of grief to be released along with the butterfly, setting the spirit free.

With its beautiful transformation, a butterfly is the perfect choice to symbolize the spiritual journey we take through life. Over the decades, our Butterfly Release has grown and become an important ceremony for families and the community.

Sign Up to Release a Butterfly
