Hospice Caregiver Training Booklet

Triniti Home Health and Hospice offers an online Hospice Caregiver Training Booklet to those providing hospice care for a loved one at home. This helpful tool contains information that answers some of the most common questions regarding at-home hospice care. Our goal is to assist the families and caregivers of Triniti hospice patients with the resources they need and to prepare them for what to expect while caring for a loved one at home.

Hospice Care at Home

We each traverse a different end-of-life path. At Triniti, we want to ensure that every patient receives the compassion and care needed for a respectful and honoring end-of-life journey, whether that’s with our team or at home. By training families and caregivers on how to respond to specific hospice situations, we hope that patients can feel comfortable in a familiar setting while receiving the support and care they need.

Our Hospice Caregiver Training Booklet offers goals, training tips, and detailed responses to a number of hospice challenges and situations, including:

  • Eating and drinking
  • Breathing
  • Medication management
  • Restlessness and agitation
  • Pain and discomfort
  • Bowel movements and urination
  • Skin and wound care
